The mission of Food for the Hungry’s City Initiatives is to connect and integrate sectors of the Phoenix culture to form productive collaborations, to find and walk with high impact leaders, and to equip and empower people to overcome poverty.
Vision for Phoenix
In so doing, City Initiatives seeks to position the city of Phoenix as a leader in humanitarian work both here and abroad, walking with four influential sections of our culture.
In order to accomplish this, City Initiatives connects, collaborates, and equips.

The Process
Stage 1 - Connect people through building relationships in the 4 sectors
Stage 2 – Identify issues of human poverty
Stage 3 – Convene 4 sectors around issue of poverty
Stage 4 – Strategy developed to end issue of poverty
Stage 5 – Long-term collaborate effort
Branded, a movement in to end child sex trafficking in Phoenix, is a result of City Initiatives being used by God to convene major sectors around this serious issue.
