Vision:

The Hunger Corps Program exists to create an avenue for sending individuals to respond to God’s call to meet physical and spiritual hungers worldwide and to provide an opportunity for families, friends and churches to partner with Food for the Hungry’s work internationally.

 

Mission:

  We seek to intimately connect American communities with God’s global work through the support of individual Hunger Corps.
• Hunger Corps Go
  We send individuals called to advance God’s Kingdom in the Developing World.
• Partnerships are Built
  We enable communities in America and in our development fields to learn, grow and labor together as they walk alongside a Hunger Corps.
• Communities are Transformed
  We yearn to see mutual, holistic transformation in every community – from the hometown of the Hunger Corps to the field in which they serve.

• Nicaragua - Short-term teams host
• Cambodia - Country Director: Oversees all programs and staff
• Bangladesh - Staff and project development
• Uganda - Member care for study abroad participants
• Rwanda - On-site journalist
• Bolivia - Member care for Hunger Corps
• Uganda - Child Sponsorship Program and staff development
• Peru - Small business development
• Ethiopia - Working alongside HIV/AIDS victims
