Pakistan Relief

Food for the Hungry is working with a partner on the ground to provide emergency supplies to 2,000 displaced families living in Pakistan’s registered camps in Swabi and Marsdan districts. Thousands of civilians have fled into refugee camps to seek safety from the fighting between the Pakistan’s army and militants in the country’s north-western region.

Beneficiary families will receive temporary shelters, cooking utensils, water coolers, electric fans, shoes, mosquito nets, bed covers, stoves, mattresses, food and toys for children, and hygiene kits. Counseling support to help ease anxiety and offer reasons for hope will be provided to families in distress, particularly women and children.

As fighting continues and the number of internally displaced people (IDP) escalates, there is an increasing need for basic goods, health care assistance, educational materials for children, sanitation facilities, and other life-saving supplies.

Thousands of displaced Pakistani families are struggling to survive as a result of violence. Your prayers and financial support can help alleviate their suffering. Click "Donate Now" to help fund Food for the Hungry’s relief efforts in Pakistan and bring hope to many.
