Walking with Africa

Africa is the world’s second largest continent with more than 920 million people living on 11.7 million miles of land. More than 60 percent of the world’s HIV/AIDS infections occur in Africa, leaving children without parents, economies without workers and communities without hope. The population also suffers from extended droughts and wars; poor access to clean water, healthcare and education; and unproductive agricultural techniques that contribute to food insecurity.

Food for the Hungry walks with the poor in Africa and rejoices with them as they discover their God-given potential and experience lasting change through agriculture training, clean water and food security efforts, church development, child development, nutrition education and HIV/AIDS care and prevention.
